Provenance is important to us at Renaissance Pubs. We personally visit our producers to make sure our ingredients are of the highest quality and best possible taste. Plus where animals are concerned we want to make sure that they've led the happiest lives.

What better way to do this than by rearing our very own animals? So we bit the bullet and bought some pigs.

Boli is The Bolingbroke's very own pig. She lives in Hampshire with her mum and her brothers and sisters. Clapham just isn't cool if you are a pig. Home is a two and half-acre wood with three straw bedded huts. Her feed is of the highest quality too, not only does she enjoy a specially milled pig nut for protein but she feasts on surplus fruit and vegetables from local organic supplier Abel and Cole (nice for some!).
